How to Remove a Tattoo - List of 5 Laser Centers
- There's no doubt about it, Tattoo's have become one of the most fashionable trends the world has seen in decades. It's a way to express yourself in a colorful display of rainbow hues and bland deep blues. Prior to this frenzied stampede by every demographic imaginable to pierce their skin with a sharp instrument in a quest to brand themselves with a unique design representing any number of overt or covert metaphoric meanings, the tattoo was seen on that rare occasion -

Back in the day, this body art was typically reserved for the daring individual or the enlisted man in the military who used this self expression in a very personal way, such as staying close in spirit to a loved one, possibly a spouse or even a parent as they headed off for battle to serve in a foreign country. Centuries before them, we had the art work of ancient peoples from every corner of the earth which can be traced all the way back to any number of pre-civilized cultures.
Just about every continent in the world had it's own indigenous peoples who performed various rituals and adorned themselves with different objects and outfits which would define them as individuals and or a specific group. The same is true with tattoos. If you trace the origins of these body markings you will find diverse rationale from culture to culture, all had their distinct reasons for permanently painting their skin. Some would do it to signify warrior status, or as a graduation from young adult to manhood, and still others would wear them as a memorial to a loved one. The exact reason for this ramping up of popularity in modern times is something to ponder and study, but one thing is certain, approximately one decade ago this art form began it's rapid ascent into the American mainstream at the speed of light. Once a rarity for the average person is now common place.
Look no further than your Television Monitor or local concert venue and you'll find the tattoo is more prevalent in sports and the music business than it has ever been. Possibly a main influence on the younger generation. Very rarely can you turn on a Football, Soccer, or Basketball game and watch a team of men on the court or field compete without the aide of at least one essential picturesque display of masculinity permanently portrayed on his body. The same holds true for the music industry, where tattoos seem to be a prerequisite to getting a record deal or performing on stage. Even the cast of cable TV's powerhouse hit the "Ghost Hunters" on "SyFy" Channel are getting painted in between the night job of coaxing & luring introverted apparitions out of the shadows and into the limelight.
So here we are, at a time when the seldom seen rarity has become the norm, and I guess there's no turning back once the artist's sharpened pen begins to paint, or is there? of course there is, if your having second thoughts after the fact or just plain regret the decision you didn't quite think all the way through before making, please find a list of medical facilities at the bottom of this page that may be able to remove your insignia.
